Certified Telehealth Practitioner (CTP)

The CTP designation focuses on the knowledge and skills needed to translate traditional, face-to-face behavioral health services into a virtual environment. Coursework addresses client care in digital settings, technology and telepresence, and the unique legal, regulatory, and ethical responsibilities that come with practicing online.It's important to understand that the CTP credential does not independently authorize you to provide services, but rather validates your competency in delivering telehealth within your existing scope of practice. Earning the CTP also does not guarantee the ability to bill state, Medicaid, Medicare, or private insurance for telehealth services.In accordance with Florida Certification Board (FCB) standards, our training is delivered exclusively via compliant self-paced online courses; "homestudy" formats are no longer accepted. To successfully verify learning and earn a certificate of completion, participants must pass a post-test with a minimum score of 70% and complete a Level One evaluation (attitude questionnaire).
