Under Georgia Board Rule 135-5-.01, LPCs who provide supervision that began after September 30, 2018 hold one of two credentials: the NBCC Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) or the LPCAGA Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS). Here’s how the ACS route works.
The ACS route, step by step
- Complete a 45-hour ACS training program from a CCE Registered Credential Training Provider.
- Apply to CCE for the Approved Clinical Supervisor credential.
