This 7-hour continuing education course, Content Area C8: Treatment Planning, is designed for Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors, Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistants, Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselors, and their respective clinical supervisors. It prepares addiction professionals to translate multidimensional assessment data into objective, behaviorally written treatment plans. Practitioners draft SMART objectives, integrate safety planning and crisis intervention directly into the treatment record, collaborate with integrated systems of care under federal confidentiality mandates, and execute the core functions of substance use disorder case management.
