Suicide Prevention for Tennessee Clinicians
Suicide Prevention, Assessment, Treatment, Management, and Postvention for Tennessee Clinicians is a two-hour, text-based home study course designed around the suicide prevention training requirement in the Kenneth and Madge Tullis Act. It covers Tennessee suicide data, theories of suicide, risk and protective factors, warning signs, prevention, universal screening, structured assessment and risk formulation, suicide-specific treatment, safety planning, lethal means counseling, levels of care and care transitions, Tennessee's parental notification rule for minors, and postvention for bereaved clients, communities, and clinicians. Upon successful completion of the post-test, hours are reported directly to CE Broker.
