This 6-hour continuing education course is Content Area C8 for Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors, Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistants, Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselors, and their respective clinical supervisors and it addresses Content Area C8: Treatment Planning. Practitioners master the clinical frameworks required to translate biopsychosocial assessment data into collaborative, person-centered treatment plans, including SMART goal formulation, cultural adaptation, selecting evidence-based interventions matched to client traits and stage of change, and ongoing progress evaluation and plan reassessment.

Professionals assess the five domains of recovery capital to identify protective factors and build sustainable pathways to long-term remission.
