This 6-hour Continuing Education course is specifically designed for New Hampshire Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors (LADCs) and Master Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors (MLADCs) and built around their ethics renewal requirement. Grounded in New Hampshire RSA 330-C and the 2025 NAADAC Code of Ethics, this curriculum provides a comprehensive analysis of the legal and ethical frameworks governing addiction practice in the Granite State. Participants will explore the distinct scopes of practice for LADCs and MLADCs, navigate the complexities of confidentiality under 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA, and apply advanced ethical decision-making models to real-world clinical scenarios. The course also addresses emerging ethical landscapes, including the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in clinical documentation, telehealth compliance across state lines, and the imperative of cultural humility in diverse communities. Upon successful completion of the post-test, hours are reported directly to CE Broker.
