Texas 45-Hour Clinical Supervision Masterclass and ACS Training Program

Keep your Texas LPC Supervisor status current and meet the 45-hour training component of the national Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) credential in one online, self-paced program. The program is designed around 22 TAC 681.140, which calls for 24 hours of continuing education each renewal period, including 6 hours in ethics and 3 hours in cultural diversity or competency, and 6 hours in supervision for licensees with supervisory status. Supervision hours count toward the 24-hour total. Hours from this program can count toward these requirements as allowed by Council rules, including the Legal and Ethical Issues course toward ethics and the Culturally Responsive Clinical Supervision course toward cultural diversity or competency.

The program covers supervision theories and models, methods and techniques, legal and ethical duties, evaluation and gatekeeping, the supervisory relationship, roles and functions, administrative responsibilities, group supervision, cultural responsiveness, and technology in supervision. Fully asynchronous and self-paced.

Target Professions: LPC, LPC-S.
