California 15-Hour New Supervisor Training Package (BBS)
Complete the 15 hours of supervision training that the California Board of Behavioral Sciences requires of new supervisors in one package. The package combines California Law, Ethics, and Documentation in Clinical Supervision (6 hours), Theoretical Frameworks and Models of Clinical Supervision (6 hours), and Culturally Responsive Clinical Supervision (3 hours).
The California course covers supervisor qualifications, the Supervision Agreement and self-assessment report due within 60 days, weekly supervision units, videoconference supervision, associate employment rules, and defensible supervision records. The two companion courses cover the major models of clinical supervision and culturally responsive supervision practice. All three are text-based home study courses offered under NBCC ACEP #7987, with a certificate issued for each course.
Target Professions: LMFT, LCSW, and LPCC licensees preparing to supervise associates or trainees in California.
