Illinois Mandated Training Bundle for Mental Health Professionals (4 CE Hours)

Complete all four of the Illinois mandated trainings for mental health professionals in one bundle. The bundle includes Sexual Harassment Prevention Training, Implicit Bias Awareness Training, Cultural Competency Training, and Alzheimer's Disease and Other Dementias, each a 1 CE hour text-based home study course offered under NBCC ACEP #7987.

How often each training is required:

• Sexual harassment prevention: 1 hour at every renewal for licensees with continuing education requirements (68 Ill. Adm. Code 1130.400).
• Implicit bias awareness: 1 hour at every renewal for covered health care professionals, including LPCs, LCPCs, LSWs, and LCSWs (68 Ill. Adm. Code 1130.500).
• Cultural competency: 1 hour once every six years, beginning with renewals on or after January 1, 2025, for LPCs, LCPCs, LSWs, and LCSWs (68 Ill. Adm. Code 1130.525).
• Alzheimer's disease and other dementias: 1 hour once every three renewal periods for professional counselors who serve adults age 26 and older (20 ILCS 2105/2105-365).

Each course includes a post test, a program evaluation, and a certificate stating the CE hours earned. NBCC is an approved continuing education sponsor for Illinois LPCs and LCPCs, and all hours count toward the 30 CE hours required for renewal.

Target Professions: LPC, LCPC, LSW, LCSW. The sexual harassment course also applies to LMFTs.
