Ohio CDCA Renewal Package (30 CE Hours)

This package gives Ohio Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistants a full two-year renewal in one purchase. Ohio Adm.Code 4758-13-01 asks chemical dependency counselors to complete at least 30 continuing education hours each renewal period, including at least 6 hours on substance use disorder and at least 3 hours of ethics. These six courses add up to 30 CE hours, cover both, and follow the same content areas used for CDCA training.

• Content Area C1: Substance Use Disorder and Recovery Knowledge (5 CE hours)
• Content Area C2: Counseling Procedures and Strategies for SUD Treatment (8 CE hours)
• Content Area C3: Group Process and Techniques (5 CE hours)
• Content Area C4: Assessment and Diagnosis of SUD (3 CE hours)
• Content Area C8: Treatment Planning (6 CE hours)
• Content Area C9: Legal and Ethical Issues Pertaining to SUD Counselors (3 CE hours)

Every course is text-based and self-paced, and you receive a certificate as you complete each one. Bought one at a time, these courses come to $104.

This package is for license and certificate renewal. It is separate from the CDCA education bundles that are submitted to the Board for a CDCA application.
