Pennsylvania 20-Hour Renewal Bundle for Marriage and Family Therapists

This bundle gives Pennsylvania LMFTs 20 of their 30 renewal clock hours, including the 3 ethics hours, the Act 74 suicide hour, and a 5-hour couple and family therapy course with a full module on Pennsylvania MFT law. The bundle includes Pennsylvania Professional Ethics for Counselors, MFTs, and Social Workers (3.0), Suicide Risk Assessment, Treatment, and Management for Pennsylvania Clinicians: Act 74 (1.0), Couple and Family Therapy: Systemic Assessment, Evidence-Based Models, and Ethical Practice (5.0), Assessment and Diagnosis of Trauma (4.0), Foundations of Crisis Intervention (4.0), AI in Behavioral Health: Ethics, Risks, and Responsible Use (3.0), for 20.0 clock hours in all. Every course is online, self-paced, and labeled home study, with a certificate after each post-test.

The 2 clock hours of child abuse recognition and reporting training required by Act 31 come from a provider approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services or Department of State, so they are not part of this bundle. These courses are designed around the continuing education requirements of the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors but are not approved or endorsed by the Board.

How many hours do I still need after this bundle?

Pennsylvania licensees complete 30 clock hours each renewal period. After these 20, you still need 8 more clock hours of your choice plus the 2 Act 31 child abuse hours from an approved Act 31 provider.

Can I take all of my Pennsylvania CE online?

Yes. Since November 19, 2019, the Board has allowed all 30 clock hours to be completed online.

How much does the bundle save?

All 20 clock hours cost $59 in the bundle. The same courses bought one at a time cost $82.
