Texas BHEC: The LPC-S Complete 23-Hour Renewal Bundle

As both an NBCC ACEP and NAADAC-approved provider, every course in this bundle automatically satisfies the Texas BHEC "50% Rule," which requires at least half of a licensee's CE hours to come from nationally recognized association-approved providers. The bundle's 23.0 hours break down across four CE Broker subject areas: Clinical Supervision: Models, Methods, and Texas Rules (6.0 hours), Texas Ethics: Compliance, Jurisprudence, and Avoiding Disciplinary Action (6.0 hours), Cultural Diversity and Competency in Texas Practice (3.0 hours), and Addiction Counseling Competencies (TAP 21) (8.0 hours). When reported through CE Broker, that translates to 6.0 Supervision hours, 6.0 Ethics hours, 3.0 Distinct Populations hours, and 8.0 General hours, all 23 counting toward the 50% Rule. LPCs providing direct patient care still need to separately complete a 1-hour Human Trafficking course approved by Texas HHSC. This bundle does not include that course at this time.
