Certified Recovery Residence Administrator (CRRA)

The CRRA designation focuses on the knowledge and skills needed to responsibly manage a recovery residence or sober living house. Coursework addresses the overall administrative and operational management of recovery environments, the supervision of residents and staff, and the unique legal, ethical, and safety responsibilities required to maintain a supportive, drug-free housing environment. It's important to understand that the CRRA credential is strictly administrative and does not authorize you to provide clinical services. The credential validates your competency in milieu management but explicitly prohibits you from conducting clinical counseling, therapy, or diagnostic assessments, requiring you to immediately refer residents in need of clinical care to licensed mental health professionals. Earning the CRRA also does not grant the ability to bill state, Medicaid, Medicare, or private insurance for clinical services. In accordance with Florida Certification Board (FCB) standards, our training is delivered exclusively via compliant self-paced online courses; "homestudy" formats are no longer accepted. To successfully verify learning and earn a certificate of completion, participants must pass a post-test with a minimum score of 80% and complete a Level One evaluation (Program Evaluation).
