This 6-hour Continuing Education course is specifically designed for North Dakota Licensed Master Addiction Counselors (LMACs) and Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselors (LCACs). Aligned with TAP 21 Practice Dimension VI, this curriculum moves beyond individual-centric treatment to embrace a systemic approach to recovery. Participants will master the competencies required to educate clients, families, and communities about the biological, psychological, and social aspects of addiction. The course provides a robust framework for navigating the continuum of care, managing referrals within complex managed care systems, and integrating mutual-help groups into treatment plans. Special emphasis is placed on culturally responsive education for diverse populations and the ethical mandates of coordination and evaluation. Upon successful completion of the post-test, hours are reported directly to CE Broker.
