Pain and Symptom Management (2 Hours)

Overview
Curriculum

This 2-hour continuing education course is designed around the Michigan Board of Psychology's pain and symptom management training requirement. Practitioners examine the biopsychosocial model of chronic pain, central sensitization, the Fear-Avoidance Model, and evidence-based behavioral interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and quota-contingent activity pacing. The second module addresses pharmacological risk assessment, opioid management, and ethical confidentiality requirements when coordinating care with medical providers. Upon successful completion of the post-test, hours are reported directly to CE Broker.

CE Broker reporting covers the 16 boards in 10 states where I'm a registered provider. Everyone gets a certificate to download right away.
