This 6-hour program is designed to sharpen the clinical skills required for suicide prevention in the high-stakes environment of addiction treatment. This course builds a robust framework that covers the foundational statistics of suicide risk in SUD clients, analyzes the legal and ethical dilemmas of information sharing (e.g., 42 CFR Part 2 vs. Duty to Warn), and teaches the application of evidence-based screening instruments like the C-SSRS. Participants will master verbal de-escalation techniques, develop safety plans, and learn the specific roles and protocols for coordinating care with New Hampshire resources like the NHRRAP/988 system and Mobile Crisis Response Teams (MCRTs). Upon successful completion of the post-test, hours are reported directly to CE Broker.

CE Broker reporting covers the 16 boards in 10 states where I'm a registered provider. Everyone gets a certificate to download right away.
