This specialized ethics course provides Ohio Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists with a comprehensive analysis of the regulatory and ethical frameworks governing telehealth and electronic service delivery. Participants will navigate the intersection of Federal mandates (HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2) and specific Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) requirements, including the 2025 updates regarding Artificial Intelligence in record keeping. The curriculum equips clinicians to manage digital boundaries, secure electronic records, and execute legally defensible informed consent processes in a virtual landscape.
