This 8-hour Continuing Education program provides addiction professionals with the specialized knowledge required to assess and diagnose problem and pathological gambling. Participants will explore the transition of gambling disorder in the DSM-5 and master the application of validated screening tools and comprehensive assessment instruments. By examining the clinical procedures for evaluating co-occurring mental health disorders, systemic financial devastation, and gambler subtypes, clinicians will be equipped to develop highly accurate, biopsychosocial case conceptualizations to inform targeted care.
