This 6-hour continuing education course, Theoretical Frameworks and Models of Clinical Supervision, introduces the foundational theories that guide the structure, process, and interventions used during clinical supervision. Professionals study developmental models that adapt to a counselor's growing experience, psychotherapy-based models drawn from theories of clinical change, and integrative, systemic, and competency-based frameworks. The course equips supervisors to assess where a supervisee actually stands and to tailor feedback and teaching methods to that specific stage of growth. Upon successful completion of this course, your earned hours are immediately reported to CE Broker.
State Board & Regulatory Disclaimer (Ohio): Ohio CSWMFT Board accepts NBCC-approved asynchronous distance learning. Licensees may claim up to 30 total hours per renewal cycle, which fully satisfies the 9-hour supervision CE requirement for LPCC-S/LISW-S/LIMFT-S maintenance plus 21 general CE hours. Completion of this course satisfies continuing education requirements; initial supervisor designation requests must be formally submitted to the Ohio CSWMFT Board.
