Behavioral Interventions for Tobacco Cessation (4 CE Hours)

Practitioners will implement the 5 A’s and 5 R’s frameworks to structure clinical interactions that effectively address tobacco dependence as a chronic disease.

Clinicians will apply Motivational Interviewing core skills, including OARS and change talk recognition, to resolve client ambivalence and enhance readiness to quit.

Participants will construct individualized treatment plans integrating Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy strategies, such as the 4 D’s, to manage triggers and cravings.
