Massachusetts LMHCs complete 30 contact hours each renewal (262 CMR 7.03). The Board accepts courses that meet NBCC standards and encourages 3 hours of ethics and 3 hours of anti-discrimination training; this bundle includes Telehealth Ethics (3) and Cultural Competency and Diversity (3) for those. This bundle does not include the one-time Chapter 260 domestic and sexual violence training, which comes from a DPH-approved provider.

These courses are designed around the continuing education requirements of the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Allied Mental Health and Human Services Professions and are not approved or endorsed by the Board.
