Ohio Chemical Dependency Renewal Package for Counselors Age 65 and Older (20 CE Hours)

Ohio Adm.Code 4758-13-01 lets chemical dependency counselors who are 65 or older complete 20 continuing education hours each two-year renewal period instead of 30. This package gives you those 20 hours in one purchase, including substance use disorder content and 3 hours of ethics. The reduction does not apply to holders of an ADC or CS reciprocal endorsement, and LICDC-CS holders still complete their 6 clinical supervision hours within the 20.

• Content Area C2, Part 1: Professional Foundations, Documentation, and Boundaries in SUD Counseling (7 CE hours)
• Content Area C3: Group Process and Techniques (5 CE hours)
• Content Area C9: Legal and Ethical Issues Pertaining to SUD Counselors (3 CE hours)

Every course is text-based and self-paced, and you receive a certificate as you complete each one. Bought one at a time, these courses come to $70.

This package is for license and certificate renewal. It is separate from the CDCA education bundles that are submitted to the Board for a CDCA application.
