The Texas LPC Complete 24-Hour Renewal Bundle

Dr. Paulson is an NBCC and NAADAC Approved Provider, so our courses satisfy the Texas BHEC "50% Rule," which requires at least half of a licensee's CE hours to come from national association-approved providers. This bundle takes care of the full renewal cycle in one place. Texas Ethics: Compliance, Jurisprudence, and Avoiding Disciplinary Action (6.0 hours) covers the ethics mandate, while Cultural Diversity and Competency in Texas Practice (3.0 hours) knocks out the distinct population/cultural competency requirement. Rounding out the mandated pieces, Texas Jurisprudence Exam Prep (1.0 hour) counts as an additional ethics credit upon exam passage. The remaining hours come from Diagnosis and Treatment of Co-Occurring Disorders (6.0 hours) and Addiction Counseling Competencies (TAP 21) (8.0 hours), bringing the bundle to exactly 24.0 CE hours total. Unlike some states, Texas places no cap on online or asynchronous learning, so the full 24 hours can be completed on your own schedule, though LPCs providing direct patient care still need to separately complete a 1-hour Human Trafficking course approved by Texas HHSC. This bundle does not include that course at this time. Also worth noting: starting in 2026, all hours must be reported through CE Broker.
