This one-hour continuing education program equips South Carolina behavioral health professionals with essential frameworks for navigating suicide assessment, treatment, and management. Practitioners examine statutory mandates and ethical codes across counseling, therapy, and psycho-educational specialties regarding crisis intervention and lethality. The curriculum emphasizes evidence-based risk assessment protocols, safety planning, and confidentiality limits to ensure competent clinical practice when clients present an imminent danger. Upon successful completion of the post-test, hours are reported directly to CE Broker.

This course is a great refresher on strategies to support clients in current distress. I especially appreciate the aftercare recommendations and suggestiosn for telehealth support. I highly recommend this course!
