The Texas Social Work Complete 30-Hour Renewal Bundle

This bundle covers a full Texas social work renewal in one place: 30 CE hours for LBSWs, LMSWs, and LCSWs under 22 TAC §781.501. Texas Social Work Ethics: Standards of Practice and Avoiding Disciplinary Action (6.0 hours) covers the 6-hour ethics requirement, and Cultural Diversity and Competency in Texas Practice (3.0 hours) covers the 3-hour distinct population requirement. Texas Social Work Jurisprudence Review (1.0 hour) helps you prepare for the jurisprudence exam, and passing the exam itself can be claimed as 1 additional ethics hour. The remaining hours come from Telehealth in Texas: Legal and Ethical Standards (4.0 hours), Diagnosis and Treatment of Co-Occurring Disorders (6.0 hours), Addiction Counseling Competencies (TAP 21) (8.0 hours), and Gambling Addiction Treatment: A Brief Review (2.0 hours), bringing the bundle to exactly 30.0 CE hours. Every course is online and self-paced, with a certificate after each post-test.

This bundle does not include the 6 hours of supervision CE for licensees with supervisory status, or the human trafficking prevention training described in Texas Occupations Code §116.002, which can be claimed as 1 hour. The rule asks that at least half of a licensee's hours come from the provider types listed in §781.501(e). The Council does not pre-approve CE providers or courses. Will my hours be reported to CE Broker?

Yes. I'm a registered CE Broker provider for the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners, so your hours are reported when you pass each post-test. Add your Texas license number to your account so they post to the right record. You can also download a certificate after each post-test.
